Medical and health
-170 National Mobile Medical Units on PPP mode to be started in next financial year and 100 new Ayurvedic Hospitals to be set up in rural areas.
-Four state run medical colleges —Jhansi, Gorakhpur, Allahabad and Meerut to be upgraded as super specialty hospitals under the phase-3 of Pradhanmantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana and provision of Rs 126 crore has been made for super specialty department in two medical colleges of Kanpur and Agra.
—Proposal of starting Robotic Surgery in SGPGI, to establish Organ Transplant Unit in KGMU, construction of 500-bed super specialty hospital, paramedical and nursing college in new campus of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences Lucknow and Rs 500 crore for upgrade of five district hospitals of the state as medical college.
—Courses will be started for 100 MBBS seats in the academic session year of 2018-19 in Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Greater Noida,
-Rs 14 crore for establishment of Burn Unit in Government Medical Colleges of Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Agra and Allahabad.
—Provision of Rs 10 crore for Aam Aadmi Beema Yojana, Rs 130.60 crore for ‘Pradhanmantri Jeevan Jyoti Beema Yojana’ and Rs. 4.75 crore for Pradhanmantri Suraksha Beema Yojana.
Social welfare
-Rs 7,858 crore for various schemes for the welfare of the schedule caste
-Rs 250 crore for mass marriage for the daughter of people living below poverty line and Rs 121 crore as grant for the daughter of poor people from schedule caste
-Rs 500 crore for Rashtriya Paravarik Laabh Yojna
-Rs 2,560 crore for pension for persons above 60 years of age
-Rs 1,705 for the various welfare schemes of other backward caste welfare department
