Ujjain: Best culmination of resistance should be reconciliation, says Prof AK Singh

Ujjain: A two-day national seminar on Resistance in Literature in English organised by School of Studies in English, Vikram University was inaugurated by AURO University, Surat vice-chancellor AK Singh here on Friday. Prof Singh highlighted the various paradigms related to the concept of resistance in literature and different discourses emanating from it.

The session was chaired by head of the department and chief coordinator of the seminar, Dr Achala Sharma and the theme of the seminar was presented by Dr BK Aanjana. The programme was conducted by Dr Rooble Verma and vote of the thanks was presented by Dr Anjana Pandey.

There were two technical sessions on the first day of the seminar, where around 23 research papers were presented on various subthemes. The valedictory session will be held on Saturday where the chief Guest will department head of English, JRN Vidyapeeth, Udaipur (Rajasthan) Prof HS Chandalia. Scholars from various parts of the country will present their papers in three technical sessions on the last day of the seminar.
