It was decided that the a JFC sub-committee will present a report on the assurances given to the state during bifurcation.

"The JFC will objectively analyse the Andhra Pradesh bifurcation act promises without any personal, political or ideological bias. Based on that report, political action will be decided by the joint political action committee. JFC is filing an RTI application seeking information on promises made & funds disbursed for projects as part of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act 2014. Answering this RTI is the Centre's responsibility, who has to answer 10 crore Telugu public," Pawan said in one of his tweets.

Pawan Kalyan on Friday urged the Centre to fulfil its promises made to Andhra Pradesh, failing which there could be unrest among the people of the state, which would go against the interests of the country.

Former bureaucrat Jayaprakash Narayan said that the Andhra Pradesh government has agreed to share a document submitted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu during a recent meeting.

On Saturday, the JFC started look into aspects like revenue deficit, special assistance to backward regions, tax benefits for investors, provisions for infrastructure and special category status or package.
