Aptly believing in the dictum, ‘Youths are the future of India’, once again Prime Minister Narendra Modi taking time out of his busy schedule addressed the students across the nation, ahead of the board examinations, in a programme titled ‘Pariksha Par Charcha’ on Friday winning hearts.

Over 800 Government schools functioning in the State had made the provision for the students to witness the PM show live from New Delhi on campus premises while as many as 1400 government schools tuned in radio sets to gain valuable tips to overcome examinations fear and life beyond.

Meanwhile, students of private cradles were also not behind is gaining a few valuable lessons from PM Modi. Schools like Delhi Public School, Ranchi, Oxford Public School, Sarala Birla Public School including others had made special arrangements at Schools for Modi’s maiden speech that enlightened budding minds.

With board examinations just a few days away, queries surfacing around like peer pressure, percentage, social pressure, parent expectations, career ahead etc were all settled down by the PM who just not preached the students on Do’s and Don’ts but infused many suggestions among the children to achieve success in life. From sharing success stories to building an ecosystem based on an individual analysis and observation, self motivation etc was discussed in the PM’s special class.

Several students who attended this special class filled with laughter, experiences, learning and, above all, the success Mantras not just aided in clearing perceptions and to come out of the comfort zones but triggered the student minds towards a correct direction.

“I watched the entire session of ‘Pariksha Par Charcha’ at my school. Lesson about self-confidence where the PM asked each one of us to take up challenges, face hurdles to become a confident person was the best part of the session. As now I am studying in class 9, I will try to focus on different other aspects as well that was raised during the show so that I can give my best during the board examination,” said Stuti, a student.

Modi Pathshaala had not just gained appreciation from one or two students but several children taking the board examination this year especially sat to get a clear concept of important chapters like ‘marks and percentage fears’ that affects them the most. “The session was worth watching. Each topic taken up during the discussion is linked with us. I too undergo a similar situation at times,” added another student, Bharti Priya.

The session had many suggestions unfolded for the parents and guardians as well. Besides the regular but most important topics that often either summed up with some teachings or else hardly taken care of, was discussed covering six lakh schools and 35 thousand colleges in India.

Teachers, guardians and students were highly influenced with the crux of the session that touched upon topics like challenges to cope with pressure, how self-confidence can be maintained, tips to increase concentration power where analyzing oneself is important.

“The session was an insightful one. The entire school watched the session. At times, these little gestures help not merely the school kids who are taking examination but also the teachers and parents who often fail to read the students’ minds at the crucial stage,” said Principal, Government Middle School, Pandra, Ashok Singh who recently tweeted a few questions on this similar topic from students’ side.
