Minimum temperatures improve in J&K

The minimum temperatures throughout Jammu and Kashmir showed improvement on Saturday due to cloud cover, according to the weather office.
There would be further improvement in the weather during the next 24 hours, the office added.
In Srinagar, the minimum temperature was 4.5 degrees Celsius while in Pahalgam and Gulmarg it was minus 1.1 and minus 6.5 respectively.
Kargil at minus 12.6 degrees Celsius was the coldest town in the state on Saturday while Leh recorded minus 2.1 as the night's lowest.
The minimum temperatures at Jammu, Katra, Batote, Bannihal, Bhaderwah and Udhampur were 10, 9.4, 4, 2, 2.5 and 8.6 degrees Celsius respectively.
