The Airport Operations Control Center, AOCC, was inaugurated at Goa airport in Dabolim today. Airports Authority of India (AAI) chairman Guruprasad Mohapatra was present on the occasion.
With this, Goa airport became the 12th AAI-managed airport with AOCC facility. The AOCC would help provide real-time information on flights operating at the airport on flight information displays.
This will facilitate provision of information related to actual arrival and departure time, boarding gate numbers and baggage conveyor numbers to be available on display systems.
