The Justice K.S. Hegde Institute of Management will organise a two-day Nitte CEO conclave on the theme “Managing business in digital economy - opportunities and challenges” at Nitte in Udupi district on Friday and Saturday.
In a press release issued by the Institute here, K Sankaran, Director of the Institute, said that the need to adopt digital technology in business operations and process has been growing exponentially. Business organisation in India whether big, medium, or small had to be at the forefront of adopting digital technologies to retain their competitive edge and remain relevant within their respective domains.
With this background, the Conclave would provide a platform for research scholars, educators and practitioners from different management disciplines an opportunity to interact, network and benefit from each other’s research and expertise related to management practices across functional areas to thrive in a digital economy.
Around 300 students and owners of 100 Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from different parts of Karnataka are expected to participate in the conclave.
Experts from the industry would be deliver lectures at the event.
