She identified her chain when suspects came to her jewellery shop to 'sell' it.

An employee of a pawn shop received the shock of her life when a chain stolen from her a few days ago was brought to her workplace for sale.

According to the police, Jelina, who works at the shop-cum-jewelley in Red Hills, was returning to her house in Ambedkar Nagar around 7.30 p.m. on Tuesday when two persons robbed her of a four-sovereign chain at knifepoint.

The Sholavaram police identified the suspects as Suri alias Surender, 30, and his accomplice Radhakrishnan.

The duo allegedly asked Laxmi, 39, to sell the chain. So she took it to the shop where Jelina was working. The latter identified the chain. On receiving information, the police arrested Laxmi.
