The early wicket of Hashim Amla gave India a good start after South Africa won the toss and elected to bat. Then Aiden Markram and Ab de Villers were looking dangerous together before Shardul Thakur removed the former. Zondo joined AB, who was soon dismissed by Yuzvendra Chahal. Though South Africa have been scoring runs at a decent rate, Indian bowlers have kept them under the check.

That is the halfway mark in the South Africa innings. 25 overs have been bowled and South Africa have reached 116 for the loss of three wickets. Zondo and Heinrich Klaasen are the crease.
GONE! Big wicket for India as AB de Villiers is bowled by Chahal. De Villiers wanted to make room for himself and then goes on the backfoot. A straight-ish delivery from Chahal that holds its line. De Villiers misses the cut shot and the ball hits the leg stump.
After surviving the LBW decision, Zondo goes big against Chahal. The next ball is pulled for the a big six over mid-wicket. A ball later, he replays the shot. Similar short delivery and it has again gone for a six. 100 up for South Africa in the 20th over
India get the wicket of Zondo as Yuzvendra Chahal gets one below his bat and hits on the pads. Zondo was trying to sweep but missed the ball. Umpire raises his finger but AB de Villiers reviews the decision. The zoom-in and UltraEdge show some bat there. Zondo has got a glove there. He survives!
Kuldeep Yadav can be considered unlucky there. An inside edge which went past the stumps and also MS Dhoni. Could have been the third wicket for India. But that is the end of the 18th over and South Africa are 88 for the loss of two wickets.
Shardul Thakur gets another and it is skipper Aiden Markram is gone for 24. Good catch by Shreyas Iyer, he did not drop this one! SA 43/2
