Mumbai, Feb 16 (PTI) Tin prices recovered at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists buying amidst renewed demand from alloy industries.
Elsewhere, copper, brass, zinc and lead also gained further owing to sustained demand from industrial users.
Tin prices climbed by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,465 from Thursdays closing level of Rs 1,455.
Copper cable scrap, copper utensils, copper billets, copper sheet cuttings and lead moved up by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 458, Rs 419, Rs 486, Rs 439 and Rs 177 as against Rs 455, Rs 416, Rs 483, Rs 436 and Rs 174 respectively.
Copper armiture and zinc edged up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 442 and Rs 256 as compared Rs 440 and Rs 254.
Copper scrap heavy and brass sheet cuttings inched up by Re per kg to Rs 450 and Rs 350. PTI BPD
