| | Jamshedpur | in Ranchi

Deputy inspector general (DIG), Kolhan, Saket Kumar Singh has set up three teams for investigation into the Sahara City minor rape case registered with the Mango police station.

One of the teams led by Mango police station OC, Arun Kumar Mahatha took the victim first to her native place in Rajnagar in adjoining Seraikela-Kharsawan district.  The team took the girl to the places including hotels and resorts where she had been raped during the past two years.

The girl was taken to Motel Highway, a resort along the NH-33 on way to Chandil.  The girl showed the team the room where she was raped.  Then the victim was taken to another small resort adjoining  Motel Highway.

"During probe we found that there was a secret room behind this place where she would be raped.  The girl gave every detail about the place before leading the police team to the resort," sources said.

Subsequently, the girl led the police team to  Dimna Resort, where too she was raped regularly.

Notably, DIG, Kolhan, Singh said that one of the three teams will look into the technical aspect of the case like deriving call details records (CDRs) and mobile tower location of the suspects concerned.

"We will come to a conclusion about the case only after compiling the reports of the three teams.  We will do narco test on some of the persons for getting the case probed beyond any doubt," said the DIG.

The DIG said the superintendent of police (city) Prabhat Kumar will look after the investigation of the three teams.

Significantly, at the victim's native place in Rajnagar, the police procured her age proof from a primary school, B. Kutumb Primary School.

As per the school record, the girl was born in March 2000 that proves she was a minor when her modesty was outraged two years ago.

The 17-year-old girl who worked as a maid in the house of a businessman at Sahara City was raped by three persons.  As the matter came to the notice of the house owner, Nanak Chandra Seth, he made the victim's mother, who is a resident of Kawali in Potka block lodg an FIR against three with the Mango police station on January 19.
