The full Election Commission will review poll preparedness for Assembly elections in Meghalaya on the second day today. Chief Election Commissioner O.P. Rawat, accompanied by two Election Commissioners reached Shillong yesterday. It held several meetings with leaders of political parties, election officials and police officers in Shillong. Today the EC team will meet Income Tax, Excise, Narcotic Control and RBI officials. They will also discuss measures to ensure law and order during the polls with Chief Secretary Y Tsering and DGP SB Singh.
