Los Angeles: Singer Normani Kordei of the Fifth Harmony girl group feels “lucky enough” to create her first solo single, “Love lies”, with Grammy nominated artiste Khalid. Khalid and Normani’s close friendship and mutual artistic admiration for each other led them to the studio together where they co-wrote “Love lies”, which is their first creative collaboration, read a statement.

“I’m so proud of this body of work that I was lucky enough to create with Khalid, ‘Love Lies’ available now,” Normani tweeted on Thursday. Khalid feels “so proud” of Normani, whom he considers to be “unmatchable”. Normani replied to his tweet saying: “You’re one of a kind. I love you so f***ing much. Thank you for giving me my first kid aka ‘Love lies’. Let’s be very clear.” The song is the second single of the soundtrack for the forthcoming film “Love, Simon”.
