Amazon confirmed Thursday that Transparent star Jeffrey Tambor will not return for the show’s fourth season in light of sexual harassment allegations, according to published reports.
Tambor, who won an Emmy Award for his portrayal of transgender character Maura Plefferman, was accused last November of sexual harassment by members of the Transparent team.

Amazon said Thursday that after an internal investigation of the matter, it decided to cut ties with the veteran actor as it moves forward with a fifth season of the show, according to several published reports.
In November Tambor told Deadline that he could not return to the show given its “politicized atmosphere.”
Tambor joins a list of high-profile actors/on-air personalities that have departed shows due to sexual harassment allegations, including Kevin Spacey (House of Cards), Matt Laurer (NBC Today) anad Louis C.K. (Louie).
