Vodafone Spain has reached an agreement to give away the premium ad-free service of music streaming platform Tidal to all its mobile clients. The offer applies to the standard Tidal (320 kbps) ad-free service normally costing EUR 9.99 a month, with Vodafone Red L or One L subscribers receiving 2 years of free access, Red M and One M subscribers receiving 1 year and subscribers to all other postpay and prepay tariffs getting 3 months. The exclusive offer will be promoted at the concert of US singer songwriter Nick Jonas in Madrid on 15 February.

In addition, customers won’t consume data while listening to platform’s catalogue of 52 million tracks as Tidal is part of the operator’s Music Pass, offering mobile customers zero-rated access to music streaming. The all-you-can-eat data pass was launched in July and already includes other music streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, Napster, SoundCloud and Deezer.

The operator said Tidal will cost EUR 8.99 a month once the promotion is over, with the Tidal Hi-Fi service offering FLAC or WAV quality music streaming costing EUR 17.99 a month.
