Jerry Seinfeld And Ellen DeGeneres Go For A Ride In A Toyota FJ40

An episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee featuring Ellen DeGeneres will stream on Netflix later this year, in which she and Jerry Seinfeld got to experience a Toyota FJ40.

Seinfeld and DeGeneres previewed the episode recently on her show, letting the audience know what they can expect in advance. It seems that DeGeneres was keen to teach Jerry a lesson about how unsafe it is to leave your car keys inside the car, which the comedian didn’t exactly consider funny.

Now that the move from Crackle to Netflix has been completed, we can look forward to many new CICGC episodes, as well as multiple stand-up specials featuring Seinfeld himself. Guests appearing in future episodes will include Dave Chappelle, Kate McKinnon, Tracy Morgan, Hasan Minhaj and, of course, DeGeneres.

On a less positive note, Seinfeld is currently being sued by a producer who claims that Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee was originally his idea that Jerry turned down 16 years ago.

Meanwhile, Seinfeld’s attorney told TMZ that it’s all a shake down and that it won’t lead anywhere.

    Why?

I can understand. Part of the attraction of “fun” videos like this is that they seem real and done for the joy of doing them. When you learn that the key person is getting paid large sums of money up front, it takes away the magic that helped you enjoy it.

        Oh, I see. Thanks.

    she’s too phony.

She has a fairly limited demographic that enjoys her, but that demographic really enjoys her.
