Sapan hosted ‘speed dating’ event for animal lovers

Comedian Sapan Verma hosted Romedy Now’s #FurrentinesDate, a ‘speed dating’ initiative created for animal lovers on Valentine’s Day. #FurrentinesDate is a property that saw furry ones play cupid by bringing together animal lovers to celebrate their love for pets and abandoned strays and help them find love in the process.
Talking about his association, Sapan mentioned, “I love cats and dogs. At the event there were lots of cats, which were a great conversation starter. ”

The event saw 30 Romedy Now fans (15 girls and 15 boys) with a common love for animals. #FurrentinesDate succeeds Furrentine’s Day, which was launched last year with the concept of redefining love and encouraging people to celebrate Valentine’s Day differently. 

The comedian gave a thumbs up to adoption of stray cats. “So, it will be nice to see people adopting cats,” he added.

But he has a little advice. “I don’t have a pet. That’s because at least 20 days in a month, I am travelling. As a pet lover, you should be able to take care of your pet also. If you are not able to take care of them, then don’t adopt them.” ST
