Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will visit to India today. This will the President’s maiden visit to India since coming to power in August 2013. In May 2016, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited Iran becoming the first Indian PM to visit Iran in 15 years. Rouhani’s visit is expected to strengthen India’s relationship with the larger Arab world.

Bengaluru is likely to get its first electric vehicle charging point today.  The charging point will be first installed at the BESCOM corporate office. 10 more charging points will be set up across the city.

BJP chief Amit Shah will kick off a motorbike rally from Jind, Haryana today. This marks the beginning of election campaigns for the 2019 General and Assembly Elections by the party. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Amit Shah are also likely to ride the bike along with thousands of youth during the rally.

Motorola is all set to launch its shatterproof Z2 Force along with Motor TurboPower Pack Mod in India today. Priced at approximately around Rs 51,000, the smartphone was first unveiled in US in July 2017.

Partial solar eclipse is set to occur today. While the Asian sub continent will not witness the eclipse, the celestial phenomenon can be seen over southern hemisphere including Antartica and parts of southern South America. The eclipse comes days after the rare super blue blood moon on January 31.
