New Delhi, Feb 15: The first list of selected applicants for Delhi nursery admission 2018 would be declared today by over 1,700 private unaided recognised schools. Parents, who are seeking admissions of their wards to nursery classes, can log on to the website of the school from 9 AM and can also visit the website.

The second allotment second allotment list will be released on February 26, 2018. The third allotment list would be out on March 15.

The forms to fill up approximately 1.25 lakh nursery seats across the 1,700 schools were out on December 27. The admission process for the same would be closed on March 31, 2018.

“…all private unaided recognized schools shall develop and adopt criteria for admission which shall be fair, reasonable, well defined, equitable, non-discriminatory, unambiguous and transparent,” the Directorate of education said in a circular.

The circular, however, said that all the schools will have to abide by the government’s order which had abolished 62 criteria considered “unfair, unreasonable and non-transparent”. These include oral tests, interviews, and non-smoking parents.

The parents will get three days time to get answers to their questions regarding the nursery admissions.
