Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that nobody will be allowed to take law and order in one's hand and the government is tackling criminals in its own way.
He said there took place 1200 police encounters with criminals and forty criminal was killed. He said there will be no compromise with criminals. He said encounters will be continued in state and the government will crush the criminals. He said the opposition is taking the side of criminals.
Sri Yogi was addressing Legislative council today. He said NOIDA incident of firing on a man is not an encounter and police has denied it as the encounter. He said the hospitalised victim has himself also denied it as encounter but it a spate. Police have taken action in the matter and the police officer has been sent jail. Sri Yogi was addressing the house on opposition's demand of CBI enquiry in NOIDA incident in which a man was injured by police Sub Inspector's arm.
On the demand of the opposition, the Chairman Ramesh Yadav had directed government for CBI probe in the NOIDA and other these matters on Tuesday.
Today CM Yogi opposed the Chairman decision of CBI probe and asked the chair not to deliver such decision which does not come under its preview. On it, Chair reserved its decision.
