L&T said transportation infrastructure business has won an order worth Rs 513 crore and power transmission & distribution segment has bagged orders of Rs 500 crore.
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) share price gained nearly a percent intraday Thursday after the construction subsidiary has won orders worth Rs 1,585 crore across various business segments.
"Transportation infrastructure business has won an order worth Rs 513 crore and power transmission & distribution segment has bagged orders of Rs 500 crore," the engineering and construction firm said in its filing.
Transportation infrastructure business has bagged a new order from the National Highways Authority of India for the four laning of the highway in the Aurangabad to Karodi section of NH-211 (New NH No 52) in Maharashtra on EPC mode while power transmission and distribution division has secured an order for constructing 220kV & 110kV transmission lines in Kochi, Kerala.
Under water & effluent treatment business, L&T Construction has won an EPC order worth Rs 371 crore from rural water supply and sanitation, Odisha for providing water supply to Komana, Nuapada, Boden and Khariar Blocks of Nuapada district in Odisha.
"The metallurgical & material handling business has bagged orders worth Rs 201 crore in the area of blast furnace revamp & product business," L&T said.
At 12:15 hours IST, the stock price was quoting at Rs 1,364.85, up Rs 7.15, or 0.53 percent on the BSE.
