Haryana: 26-year-old Bathinda woman dies after her hair gets stuck in go-kart wheel at amusement park
Panchkula: A 28-year-old woman died of scalping after her hair got stuck in the tyre of a car ride at an amusement park near Yadavindra Gardens in Panchkula’s Pinjore.
The woman identified as Puneet Kaur hailed from Rampura Phul city of Bathinda district. Puneet had gone to the park with her husband Amardeep Singh, their two-year-old son and other family members. When the incident happened, Puneet and her husband were riding a go-kart. The family had booked four go-karts. When the first lap of the track was about to conclude, Puneet’s hair got caught in a wheel. She was immediately rushed to a Civil Hospital, Sector 6, in Panchkula where she was declared brought dead.
The incident left everyone shocked and go-karting was stopped immediately. The police got a call around 5:30pm from the Panchkula hospital.
The body of the deceased was handed over to the family after initial inquiry.
