Viola Davis & Olivia Munn Team Up for Women in the World 2018 Event (Video)

Viola Davis and Olivia Munn joined forces for a great cause!
The 52-year-old Fences star and the 37-year-old X‑Men: Apocalypse actress both spoke on stage at the 2018 Women in the World Salon held at Neuehouse Hollywood on Tuesday (February 13) in Los Angeles.
The duo, along with a group of other inspiring women, talked toppling the patriarchy through topics such as #TimesUp, #MeToo, and sex trafficking, as well as sexism and racism in entertainment, Silicon Valley, the White House, Syria, and more.
“I have a career that’s probably comparable to Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, Sigourney Weaver,” Viola said at the event. “They all came out of Yale, they came out of Juilliard, they came out of NYU. They had the same path as me, and yet I am nowhere near them. Not as far as money, not as far as job opportunities, no where close to it.”
“People say, ‘You’re a black Meryl Streep … We love you. There is no one like you,” she explained. “OK, then if there’s no one like me, you think I’m that, you pay me what I’m worth.”
