DHARWAD: MP Pralhad Joshi expressed his anguish at the remarks made by Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said the Congress leaders do not have decency while speaking.
Reacting to Kharge’s speech during Rahul Gandhi’s Janadesh Yatra at Devadurga in Raichur district, Joshi said here on Wednesday that it was unbecoming of a senior leader like Kharge to have addressed the Prime Minister in singular. “Irrespective of the party of the Prime Minister, his position should be respected. Narendra Modi has ascended to the post by working hard. The Congress leaders who are unable to tolerate his popularity are stooping low to address Modi in singular,” Joshi said.
He declined to comment on chief minister Siddaramaiah’s statement regarding Rahul visiting temple after eating non-vegetarian food.
