STATE TIMES NEWS REASI: Sugga Warriors won the opening match of the Cricket Tournament being organised by District Police Reasi under Civic Action Programme (CAP) at Sangum Stadium Sungri, here on Thursday. Batting first after winning the toss, Sugga Warriors made 128 runs in 15 overs. Balbir Singh was the top scorer with 32 off 16 balls while Skipper Karnail Singh scored 25 off 19 balls. Gh. Nabi picked three wickets for HCC Thareela. In reply, HCC Thareela was bundled out for only 52 runs. Onkar and Amrik shared three wickets each for Sugga Warriors. Amrik Singh was declared as Man of the Match. In the tournament a total of 16 teams from Sub Division Mahore are participating. The tournament is being organised under the supervision of SSP Reasi Tahir Sajad Bhat. Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by SDPO Mahore Majeeb-ur-Rehman Bhat in presence of Tehsildar and SHO Chassana.
