Detective Pikachu, which is expected to hit theatres on 10 May, 2019, is being produced by Legendary Entertainment and is currently shooting.
Other than Ora and Reynolds, the film will also feature Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom's Justice Smith and Big Little Lies' Kathryn Newton. Ken Watanabe, Bill Nighy, and Suki Waterhouse also star in supporting roles.
Ora was last seen in Fifty Shades Freed, which released last week, where she played Christian Grey's sister, Mia.
She had also released a song for the soundtrack called 'For You', which featured One Direction star Liam Payne.
While it has been years since the release of Ora's self-titled debut album, the singer has kept herself in the public eye through roles on The X Factor, The Voice UK, America's Next Top Model, and of course, the Fifty Shades of Grey series based on the popular novels by EL James.
