PNB scam updates: Priyanka Chopra sues Nirav Modi over unpaid dues, Sidharth Malhotra exploring legal options
Priyanka Chopra, the global ambassador of Nirav Modi diamond jewellery house, has sued the company for defrauding her. Priyanka has accused Modi of not paying her for the ad campaign. The designer’s dazzling ad campaigns have also been immensely popular, especially the ones featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Priyanka Chopra. The ad which featured Priyanka and Sidharth went viral on all platforms. Actor Siddharth Malhotra who was a brand ambassador is exploring legal options to get out of his endorsement deal with Nirav Modi.
Meanwhile, according to reports, the ED officials are conducting raids on Nirav Modi’s showroom in Delhi, Mumbai and other states.
Hailing from Gujarat, Modi founded Firestar Diamond with a glitzy retail business in top cities of the world, including Delhi, Mumbai, New York, London, Hong Kong and Macau. According to reports, Union Bank, SBI Overseas Bank, Axis Bank and Allahabad Banks, are among those who lent money to Nirav Modi. Union Bank lent Rs 2,300 crore and Allahabad Bank lent Rs 2,000 crore, SBI gave Rs 960 crore.
