Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro with Dual Camera with 6GB RAM Launched in India
Xiaomi has not only launched Redmi Note 5, but also a more powerful and camera centered Redmi Note 5 Pro.
Redmi Note 5 Pro has the same display as Redmi Note 5 i.e 5.99″ FHD+ but it has an upgraded all new Snapdragon 636 SoC with Kryo Cores. It also comes with 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants but storage is fixed at 64GB.
The main difference is in camera as Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with 12MP+5MP dual rear camera setup. It also utilizes AI tech to distinguish between the foreground object and background layer for DSLR like depth effect.
A 20MP front camera with LED flash carries selfie-centered Redmi Note 5 Pro to a league that was ruled by Oppo and Vivo earlier. Mi has also done homework and introduced AI based Beautify 4.0 along with Portrait selfies where AI distinguishes the foreground from background.
Redmi Note 5 Pro is overall a great device and looks like a blend of modern day smartphones. They have picked the best of Android OEM and baked it into one package, though by including the camera notch like Apple has ruined the otherwise excellent design.
