Kiev ends contract with Mosquito for Wi-Fi in metro

Kiev city municipality has its terminated agreement with the company Mosquito Mobile on the deployment of a Wi-Fi network in the Kiev metro. The agreement was concluded in 2014, after a tender on Wi-Fi and video-surveillance services in the metro.

Mosquito Mobile halted the roll-out of the Wi-Fi network due to financial problems. The services were launched in the first Kiev metro stations in 2015, and all stations were planned to be covered in 2016 but the plans failed.
