Dutch internet providers told to block access to The Pirate Bay, according to Brein, the anti-piracy group which has been fighting for the ban on the torrent site. After Ziggo and XS4ALL, the other internet providers did not appeal against the order to block access to The Pirate Bay. The ruling came in September. Online and Vodafone are blocking access based on the ruling against Ziggo and XS4ALL.

The others, KPN, T-mobile Netherlands, Telenet, CAIW and Zeelandnet, demanded their own ruling. This was given in January. The deadline to appealing was on 9 February. This means that the site will in any case remain blocked until the final decision from the Supreme Court.

Brein said that the Advocate-General will give advice to the Supreme Court on 2 March. This advice is usually followed. There are then two possibilities: the Council makes its own decision, or refers the case back to the Court.
