SCTE/ISBE Sets Deadline for Tech Paper Proposals

Cable-Tec Expo set for October 22-25 in Atlanta 2/14/2018 10:08 AM Eastern

SCTE/ISBE, CableLabs and NCTA-The Internet & Television Association has set a March 30 deadline for paper proposals for the Fall Technical Forum at Cable-Tec Expo, which is set to run October 22-25 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

Selected tech papers will be presented during Cable-Tec Expo and will be published as part of the industry’s archival body of technical literature, the Fall Technical Forum Proceedings.

They said the Expo the Fall Technical Forum this year will target the following areas:

-Wireline Access Network

-Wireless Access Network

-Internet of Things

-Digitizing the Customer Experience

-Cloud & Virtualization

-Operational Transformation

-Business Services

-Video Services

-Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality

-Security

The Expo 2018 Program Committee is chaired by Kevin Hart, EVP and chief product and technology officer for Cox Communications.

Last year’s Cable-Tec Expo in Denver drew about 8,800 attendees.
