New York, Feb 14: A person died and two others were reported to have been injured in a shooting incident in West Valley City of Utah state. “We are responding to a report of a shooting with multiple people injured in the area of 3500 W Parkway Blvd. Officers are working to secure scene,” said the West Valley City Police Department in a statement.
Suspect(s) has not been arrested yet. An investigation is underway, said the police. In a separate incident of shooting, a teenager was shot in the nearby city of South Salt Lake. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition. It was not immediately clear if the two incidents were related. Further details are awaited.
Both South Salt Lake and West Valley City are in Salt Lake County, which is the most populous county in Utah.
