The New Honda Amaze was globally unveiled at the Auto Expo 2018. The new 2018 Honda Amaze features an entirely new design, similar to the Honda City. The interiors of the facelifted Amaze is also different now.
The second generation 2018 Honda Amaze is based on an entirely new platform, unlike the previous model. The current Amaze is based on the platform of the Honda Brio hatchback. Coming to the changes of the new version, the following are the Top 5 features of the Honda Amaze.
1. Honda Amaze 2018 Exterior
The all-new Honda Amaze features an entirely new design, similar to the much bigger Honda City and the Accord. The front end of the 2018 Amaze is dominated by a new grille. The headlamps are now rectangular rather than rounded, as seen in the current Amaze. The front bumper has also received a new design.
Coming to the side of the new Honda Amaze, the new design looks good for a sedan, deliberately shortened to under 4-metres. The car also gets new 15-inch alloy wheels.
The rear of the Honda Amaze 2018 gets a new set of ‘C-shaped' tail lamps. The new rear bumper of the 2018 Honda Amaze gets a sculpted base, with a small groove to make way for the exhaust pipe.
2. Honda Amaze 2018 Interior
The dashboard of the 2018 Honda Amaze is now completely different. The new Amaze gets a new 3-spoke steering wheel, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, dual-tone dashboard and piano-finish details. The climate control button-layout has also received a refresh in the Honda Amaze 2018.
3. New Honda Amaze CVT Gearbox
The new Honda Amaze gets a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. The 2018 Honda Amaze also gets a CVT automatic gearbox, in both diesel and petrol variants. This is the first time the Honda Amaze is getting a CVT gearbox in the diesel variant.
Being a CVT, the automatic Honda Amaze will offer a smoother drive as there is no need to shift gears. Traditional AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) cars tend to jerk a bit while the car automatically tries to shift gears.
4. Safety Features Of The New Honda Amaze
The 2018 Honda Amaze is now safer than before with multiple airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution), and ESP (Electronic Stability Program). The all-new Honda Amaze gets dual airbags and ABS as standard across all variants.
5. Other Honda Amaze 2018 Features
The top variant of the new Honda Amaze gets keyless entry and a push-button start-stop system. The new Amaze also receives cruise control for the first time.
Parking sensors and rear-view cameras ensure easier manoeuvring of the new Honda Amaze.
The 2018 Honda Amaze also gets a shark-fin antenna, which blends well with the overall design.
