Akshay Kumar–Twinkle Khanna is one Bollywood couple who everyone looks up to. The much-in-love couple has been giving us some major couple goals over the years and we would be lying if we said, we did’t expect them to surprise us with their adorable camaraderie today, which happens to be Valentine’s Day. Akshay who has his schedule packed this year with several films in his kitty, didn’t have any time for himself, once the promotions of his recently released film, Padman, was all wrapped up. However, the Khiladi star made sure that he was back home to surprise his dear wife on V-Day. Now, isn’t that cute?
Needless to say, Mrs Funnybones aka Twinkle Khanna, was elated with his surprise. However, there’s a twist in the story that not only brought a smile on the actress-turned-author-turned-producer’s face, but also left us mighty impressed. Twinkle took to her Instagram profile, earlier today, to share a picture of Akshay carrying two bouquets in his hand and while his wife felt both of them were for her, the 50-year-old actor clarifies that while one of them was for her, the other one was for their daughter, Nitara. She captioned the pic, ” And my best friend flies in for a Valentine’s day surprise with, ‘Both are not for you, one is for my daughter! ‘ #happyvalentinesday”. Now isn’t that absolutely adorable. This is not the first instance when the couple has made us smile with their endearment. They never cease to admire each other and acknowledge the other’s importance in their life, whenever given an opportunity. Recently, overwhelmed by the positive reviews that Padman has been receiving since its release, Akshay took to his Instagram account to thank his wife, who turned a producer, for the first time with this film. He captioned, “The real #PadMan had his wife to thank for his story, so does the reel #PadMan 🙂 Full credit to this gorgeous superwoman for finding, chasing and making this film a reality. Over to you guys now. #PadManToday.” Now aren’t they the very definition of an amiable couple?
