ANNOUNCED: SSC scientific assistant 2017 scores released, here’s how to check yours
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release on Tuesday the result of the written examination to recruit Scientific Assistant in India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Tuesday declared the result of the written examination to recruit Scientific Assistant in India Meteorological Department (IMD). The examination was held from November 22 to November 25, 2017.
Steps to check the scores:
1) Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in
2) Click on the link for Scientific Assistant exam 2107 in the latest news section
3) A pdf page containing the link for result and write-upon the exam will appear
4) Click on the link to go to the result page
5) Key in desired details
6) Click on submit to check result
Scheme of examination:
The examination comprised 200 questions carrying 200 marks for two hours duration. The question paper had two parts, Part - I and Part - II.
Part 1 was divided into four parts carrying 25 marks each. The four parts were: General Intelligence and Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and Comprehension, General Awareness.
Part II carried 100 marks for 100 questions from Physics, Computer Science and Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
There was negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in both the parts.
The Commission has prepared a category-wise merit list and sent to India Meteorological Department, which would declare the final result.
