The death of the young scientist came to lime light after his family was unable to reach him over telephone and skype. The kin of the deceased contacted Snigdip's friend to enquiry about his whereabouts.



On Monday, police found the body of Snigdip at his residence and infomed the family about his death. Later, the body was handed over to the Indian Embassy and arrangements were made to bring the body back to India.

Snigdip got married to Payel last year and had a child in January. Snigdip's family has requested the central government to launch a probe into his mysterious death.
