Orange Romania obtained the best scores for accessibility of voice and data services following mobile network performance tests conducted by Polish company Systemics-PAB between 7 December 2017 and 10 January 2018 in 22 largest cities and national roads connecting these cities. The results have shown that Orange offers the highest quality services in relation to the maximum benchmarks set by the auditor. Orange Romania achieved a total score of 93.1 percent. With a score of 92 percent for voice services and 94 percent for mobile data, Orange ranked first in both rated categories.
The score for voice service performance is the result of both the high percentage of successful calls and their quality as well as the reduced connection time. In addition, voice services still have a significant share of Orange customers' use, up 3 percent in 2017 compared to the previous year.
In the case of mobile data, Orange is ahead of others in terms of download speed, video streaming and ease of browsing on the most visited websites in Romania. For example, end-users' preferences for Orange's mobile internet services is also reflected in an increase in data traffic by 85 percent in December 2017 as compared to December 2016.
During the campaign, approximately 3,800 calls and 1,500 mobile data sessions were performed under the same test conditions for each operator.
Orange Romania also received a certification that attests it has the best mobile network from LCC International.
