DVC wins Bangladesh order

Kolkata, February 14

Damodar Valley Corporation has won a short and long-term bid for sale of 300 MW power to Bangladesh through NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd. This is the first time that DVC has won an international tender for cross border supply of electricity, it said in a release. The long-term power supply begins from January 2022 and will be up to May 2033, while short term supply commences from June 2018 and continues up to December 2019.
