Photo of Anubhava Mantapa staffer carrying Kharge's footwear goes viral

An employee of the Anubhava Mantapa carrying the footwear of Congress leader in the Lok Sabha member Mallikarjun Kharge, during his visit to Basavakalyan in Bidar district on Tuesday, has gone viral.

On Tuesday, AICC president Rahul Gandhi, Kharge and other Congress leaders visited the Anubhava Mantapa.

Assuming that Kharge will be exiting from the backdoor, Suryakanth, an employee of the Anubhava Mantapa, rushed to the backdoor carrying Kharge's footwear. However, Kharge came out of the front door, where he had left his footwear. On realising this, Suryakanth, rushed to the main entrance and tried to help Khrage wear the footwear. However, Kharge politely refused to take his help.

Sanjay Jahagirdar, chairman, Bidar Development Authority, told DH that the picture has been misinterpreted.
