Saudi Arabia plans to make smartphone app which will give the detailed information of all the mosques in the country.
The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Saleh Al-Asheikh visited the center for geographic information of mosques at the ministry headquarters in Riyadh and received a detailed explanation about the “Massajed” app for smartphones.
The application, implemented by the ministry, will improve and install a complete geographic information system which will take the ministry into the digital era, enhancing the efficiency of work, and going hand in hand with the aspirations of Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
This web application will provide many services such as information about the mosque and its curators, a map of the mosques in the Kingdom, the ability to send notifications on the mosque, and identifying the places for daawa, and other services.
The application will also allow imams to view comments about their mosques and provide a maintenance report.
This android app will also give the advantage of the mosque observers in preparing a list of the mosques they supervise, and enabling them to distinguish all about the operations within any single mosque.
