ONC upgrades network for 4K TV

Russian regional operator Omsk Cable Networks (OCN) has begun a network upgrade to prepare for the launch of TV services under the 4K standard.

The operator started testing 4K pay-TV services earlier this January. It claims to be the first pay-TV operator using the UHD standard in the city of Omsk.
