Helmed by Sharat Katariya, Sui Dhaaga – Made In India is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s Make in India initiative. The film, that is bankrolled by Yash Raj Films, is slated to hit the silver screen on September 28, 2018. Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma are all set to sizzle on-screen for the first time in Sui Dhaaga – Made In India. Last night (January 12), Varun, who is currently prepping for Yash Raj Films’ Sui Dhaaga – Made In India, took to his Twitter handle to share the first look from the film, in which the two can be seen smiling and blushing.
The actor wrote, “EXCLUSIVE मौजी और ममता से मिलिए २८ सितम्बर को| #SuiDhaagaFirstLook #SuiDhaaga @yrf @SuiDhaagaFilm @AnushkaSharma #madeinindia” In the recently tweeted still, Varun and Anushka seem to have totally rocked the look from the 80’s. While Varun is wearing a typical desi cream printed shirt and brown pants, Anushka has donned a purple and mustard coloured saree. Both the actors have sported hairdos from the 80’s; while Varun is seen in a moustache for the first time, we see that Anushka has worn Sindoor on her forehead. On the professional front, Anushka is awaiting the release of Pari, which she is also producing. After Pari, the actress will be next seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanjay Dutt biopic, which features Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. Apart from this, Anushka also has Aanand L Rai’s Zero, which also stars Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan, who will be playing a dwarf in the film. Varun Dhawan, in the meanwhile, is enjoying a good time professionally. The actor’s last two films Badrinath Ki Duhania and Judwaa 2 have earned more than Rs 120 crore each. Varun will be next seen in Shoojit Sircar’s October and is currently shooting for Sui Dhaaga. Watch this space for further updates.
