Today, Google doodles a sleepy racoon dog, which is also a native animal of South Korea, participating in a game called 'luge'.

The Google Doodle shows the raccoon dog waking up from a deep slumber, and accidentally, slipping into the natural track meant for sledging. He is left surprised with the freezing temperature as he reaches down to the bottom of the slope.

For those who do not know, the luge games are played with the help of a sled-like support. However, the participants do not have any external protection during the race apart from a helmet which makes the sport quite dangerous.

The participants are known to reach speeds of up to 140 kilometers per hour without any breaks.

It is one of the oldest sports of Winter Olympics dating as long as 1964. Luging is known to be a sport since the 16th century. It was first introduced in Switzerland and the first luge tracks were made by a Swiss hotel owner.

Coming back to the doodle, in a sweet surprise, by the end of the race, the little magpie from the first Doodle, flys down to announce him as the winner of the race.
