(MENAFN - Jordan News Agency) Kuwait, Feb. 13 (Petra) - The ministerial meeting of the US-led International Coalition against Daesh on Tuesday kicked off in Kuwait with the participation of representatives from 74 countries and international organizations, including Jordan.

The Jordanian delegation is headed by Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi.

The meeting comes as part of ongoing international efforts and joint coordination in countering terrorism as well as following-up the coalition's strategy to counter the terrorist group.

The 2-session of the gathering will discuss the latest developments related to Daesh in Syria and Iraq in addition to the fight against terrorism across the world and coalition's efforts in combating the Daesh terror gang in particular.
