Chennai: Mumbai and Andhra teams clinched the matches in Group ‘C’ on Monday against Gujarat and Goa to succeed in the knockout matches of Vijay Hazare Trophy tournament.

Andhra team defeated Gujarat by nine wickets whereas Mumbai thrashed away against Goa team in the quarterfinal game.
Player KS Bharat scored unbeaten 106 runs whereas Ashwin Hebbar faced off 132 balls and contributed 4X4, 4X6 runs whereas Ashwin Hebbar made 99 runs and faced off 108 balls in the game and scored 11X4, 2X6 runs. This score helped Andhra to beat Gujarat in 45.2 overs.
Mumbai’s player Surya Kumar Yadav and Prithvi Shaw partnership of 70 runs helped the team to take a lead in the game. Prior, Swapnil Asnodkar (56, 67b, 8×4) and Suyash S. Prabhudessai (56, 55b, 5×4, 1×6) contribution in the game helped the team to score 266 runs against Goa for 8 wickets.
Prithvi Shaw was indulged in two imperative partnerships initially with Jay Bista for 64 runs and another with Surya Kumar Yadav for 90 runs.
Shaw clinched six fours and a six in his game of 53 runs.
