Emma Bickerstaffe is a senior research analyst at the Information Security Forum (ISF) and is responsible for delivering reports that provide thought leadership, practical guidance and solutions to information risk challenges.
Since joining ISF in 2017, Emma has been involved in several ISF research projects, including securing industrial control systems and presenting workshops on protecting an organisation’s mission-critical information assets. Currently, her focus is developing a briefing paper on data leakage prevention (DLP).
Prior to joining the ISF, she worked for the New Zealand Government in several roles, most recently at the New Zealand High Commission in London as policy adviser on defence and security. She holds a PhD in international law from the University of Cambridge.
