THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM Kannur district secretary P Jayarajan has said that the party has no role in the hacking to death of the Youth Congress leader Shuhaib in Mattannur.

Talking to reporters, he also said that strict action will be taken if any of the party members are found to be guilty of the incident.

Jayarajan added that the video showing CPM members raising death threats against the slain Shuhaib will be investigated.

He also said that the RSS and the Sangh Parivar are deliberately spreading negative publicity in the name of ‘red terror’ in order to malign the image of the CPM.
