If you haven’t heard about Priya Prakash Varrier by now, you should have been in some other planet the past few days. The girl who winks in the just released video album from the forthcoming film Oru Adaar Love has become an instant superstar.

No one really knew about Priya Varrier, but in a matter of a day or two she has a staggering 1.8 million followers on Instagram. It’s not just Mollywood, but even the Abhishek Bachchans and Allu Arjuns are tweeting about this girl who is seen in the video for less than a minute.

This is the magic of social media.

But how long will it last is one question no one is sure about now. We really wish Priya Varrier’s journey of success remains, but here are some recent instances when the social media went all out celebrating some new faces but they were forgotten, oh-so-soon.
