ADR report on CMs of India: 11 of them facing criminal cases
The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) has prepared a detailed and wide scoped report on the Chief Ministers (CMs) of our country. The report talks about their assets, criminal records, educational qualifications, and gender gap among them.

Here are some facts dished out by the report:

Of the 31 CMs we have, 25 are crorepatis. 

Of the 25 crorepati CMs, 2 have net worth running in hundreds of crores. 

Richest CM: Chandrababu Naidu with a worth Rs 177 crore (Andhra Pradesh). 

Second richest: Pema Khandu (Arunachal Pradesh) - Rs 129 crore. 

Third richest: Amarinder Singh (Punjab) - more than Rs 48 crore. 

Poorest CM: Manik Sarkar (Tripura) - Rs 26 lakh. 

Average declared assets of CMs - Rs 16.18 crore. 

Of the 31 CMs, 11 have declared that they have criminal cases pending against them. Of these 11, eight are facing serious criminal charges including charges such as murder, attempt to murder, criminal intimidation, etc.  

Of the 31 CMs, only 3 are women while the rest of the 28 are all men. The three women CMs are Vasundhara Raje Scindia (Rajasthan), Mehbooba Mufti (Jammu and Kashmir) and Mamata Banerjee (West Bengal). 

Youngest CM: Pema Khandu (Arunachal Pradesh) 

Oldest: Amarinder Singh (Punjab). 

Educational qualification: 3 are 12th pass, 12 are graduates, 10 are graduate professionals, 5 are post graduates and only 1 holds a doctorate degree.
