Autonomous vehicle bill stalls: Safety concerns among members of the Senate have slowed the progress of a bill intended to facilitate the development of self-driving cars. The bill, which would allow manufacturers to bypass many standard regulations to put autonomous vehicles on the road, will likely see some changes before it is voted on.

Take a break: In an effort to address drowsy driving, Uber is rolling out a new app feature that automatically logs the driver off the platform after driving for 12 hours straight. Drivers will have to be logged off for at least six hours before returning to work.
